LGA Supports DILG’s Mandate to End Local Armed Conflict

The barangays, situated in the forefront of local governance, are seen as perfect convergence points of governance and citizen participation. For this reason, the Local Government Academy introduces a training program for the Barangay-Based Institutions (BBIs) specifically the Barangay Peace and Order Committee (BPOC), as an effective intervention to encourage active citizen participation.
