LGA conducted the first Research Engagement and Advocacy Program (REAP) Knowledge Exchange Forum Last October 30, 2015 at the Lancaster Hotel, Mandaluyong City. It aimed to present two (2) of the four (4) research studies, focused on the Environment Protective, Climate Change Adaptive and Disaster Resilient LGUs outcome area of the DILG, conducted by Local Resource Institutions (LRIS) as part of their engagement in the REAP. The forum served as an avenue for multi stakeholder discussion on the studies, exchange of insights on how to enrich results and identify areas for future studies. A group of panelist from different National Government Agencies (NGAs) and Local Government Units (LGUs) gave their critiques and other recommendations on the research studies’ results that may influence adoption of the studies’ recommendation by the concerned stakeholders.
