Tuguegarao City- The Department of the Interior and Local Government Regional Office 02 (DILG RO2) operationalizes its new banner and strategy, #R2GETHER or Region 2 Guarantees Every Task is Harmoniously done with Excellent Result through the conduct of a 3-in-1 activity dubbed: Connect, Converge, Convene on June 3, 2016 at Villa Blanca Hotel, Tuguegarao City.

The activity was attended by 29 government offices and Local Resource Institutes in the region, primarily to connect with the mandate of the DILG being the primary catalyst of excellence in local governance. The LGRRC2-MSAC is chaired by the DILG Regional Director John M. Casta?eda, CESO III. The MOA highlights the role of the members to promote a culture of knowledge sharing and learning within the region.

Another activity conducted on the same day and venue was the MOA signing between and among the Local Resource Institutes (LRIs) and DILG RO2 to implement Citizen Satisfaction Index System (CSIS), one of the major programs of the department. Under the CSIS program, LRIs will conduct survey, measure clienteles’ satisfaction with regard to the services delivered by the LGU. The outputs of the LRIs will assist the target LGU in sustaining strengths and developing appropriate interventions for identified service delivery weaknesses. For this year, Isabela State University-Echague campus for LGU-San Mateo, Isabela and Nueva Vizcaya State University for LGU-Solano, Nueva Vizcaya are the identified LRIs, partnering DILG RO2 in implementing CSIS.
