LGA has posted the latest training calendar for the second quarter of 2012. It covers the schedules of upcoming training activities that we are offering. Included on the calendar are other programs the Academy is currently undertaking together with other stakeholders namely: the MDG Family Based Actions for Children and their Environs in the Slums (MDG-FACES) and regular meetings on Disaster Risk Reduction Management and Climate Change Adaptation.

President Bengino Aquino III is expected to attend the upcoming 1st National Summit on Criminal Justice as keynote speaker of the two-day event scheduled on December 5 and 6 in Manila. The event is a gathering of stakehlders of the justice system to reexamine the institutional criminal justice issues and to forge strategies towards enhanced delivery of justice.
The Justice Sector Coordinating Council (JSCC) composed of the Supreme Court, the Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) as lead convenors will organize the 1st National Criminal Justice Summit on December 5 and 6, 2011 in Manila.
The Japanese Grant Aid for Human Resource Development Scholarship (JDS) Program for Japanese Academic Year 2012-2013 specifically to the programs under the following components:
